troubleshooting

  • Check the power supply

It's not working at all: the condenser (for an outdoor unit) or air handler/furnace (indoor unit) are not running. •Make sure it's plugged in. This may seem obvious, but there are occasions when this is exactly the problem. An accident with a vacuum cleaner, the plug could be partially or completely dislodged.

  • check the circuit breakers

•Check the circuit breakers and fuses. Make sure they are in place, turned on, and functioning properly. Circuits, especially with older buildings, are easily overloaded if the air conditioner shares a circuit with other appliances such as refrigerators, or microwaves.

  • Remote Control

Check the batteries of your remote. Ensure your batteries are in good working order and well seated inside your remote.

  • Remote Control settings

For heating mode make sure the remote is set to the Sun mode. Adjust the temperature setting to 26 degrees.

  • Remote Control settings

For cooling mode make sure the remote is set to the snowflake mode. Adjust the temperature setting to 18 degrees.
